Jump in this July! Following on from the success of the last two years, our fun summer fundraiser with Jersey Hospice Care and The National Trust for Jersey is back! We are inviting islanders to take a dip in 30 bays, beaches and slips around our beautiful island throughout July. Participants, who can be individuals, families or groups, will aim to swim in 30 bays around the island in the month of July. The challenge will run between 1 and 31 July. Those taking part can choose to swim before work, lunchtimes, daytime, after work, before a picnic tea, by moonlight…basically anytime they can fit a swim in! Its such a simple concept and we are so grateful to Lizzie Stonebridge, who came up with the idea for Les Bourgs Hospice in Guernsey, for sharing her idea with us. The opening swim takes place on Sunday 1 July and the closing swim will be on Sunday 29 July, both at St Brelade’s bay, a chance to celebrate completing the challenge.
