Discover the island of Corfu, accompanied by Lee Durrell. Throughout this special six-day journey, you will explore the island featured in The Durrells, the acclaimed ITV adaptation of Gerald’s memoir of a childhood living in Corfu. With several days spent in the company of Lee Durrell — Gerald’s wife and fellow conservationist — you will enjoy privileged personal insights into the life of this exceptional figure during two private talks, and discover Lee’s favourite anecdotes and insights into their life and work together. You will also be joined by David Ashcroft, Director of the Gerald Durrell Week, on a private tour of Corfu Old Town and trip to Mouse Island — favourite haunts of Gerald as a boy.
