It’s a Knockout Challenge 2018

Friends of SCBU and Jersey Children’s Charity are hosting the It’s Knockout Challenge in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) and Robin Ward at the Jersey General Hospital!
In May 2016 and September 2017 the ‘It’s a Knockout Challenge’ raised incredible amounts of £24,000 and £26,000 respectively for the Special Care Baby Unit and Robin Ward, with a maximum of 720 competitors taking part in the games and over 3,000 members of the general public in attendance during the course of the Knockout weekend. The charities aim to continue to hold It’s a Knockout annually and hope to raise even more funds for the charities in 2018.
The funds raised at the Knockout weekends are used for the following;
• Equipment needs for SCBU and Robin Ward;
• Support for SCBU and Robin Ward families in the community;
• Financial assistance for families travelling to the UK for specialist neo-natal or pediatric treatment;
• Sponsorship of accommodation at Ronald McDonald house in Southampton, for families travelling to the UK; and
• Additional training for the staff in SCBU and Robin Ward.
