THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL. For those who missed the December session we have arranged a second session which looks into the world of media and journalism. Presented by Alex Mallinson from the Image Group. Alex will explain who the media are and how they work, what the media want and how to deliver it, how to approach the media, how to prepare for interviews and how to get your points across.
This is an introductory day course and will cover:
- How newsrooms work - what journalists do, and how you fit in.
- Why their story isn't your story
- Preparing for an interview - what will the journalist be looking for from you?
