Community Bank

Need various volunteers & staff!

''We have various roles available for volunteers and limited opportunities for remunerated part-time employment:

1. Our PARISH initiative, the objective of which is to make available our services throughout the Island, would benefit from more volunteers with extensive finance industry or general business experience. You would be largely working independently so would not be tied to any set hours. These positions would be voluntary, although expenses could be paid.

2. We require a volunteer to act as ASSISTANT COMPANY SECRETARY for Community Savings Ltd and if possible also help the common interest groups follow similar good practices.

3. Additional volunteer CASHIERS/ADVISERS and ADMINISTRATORS would be most welcome. Banking or general business experience would be useful but not essential. A helpful, patient and caring attitude is at least as important.

4. A MARKETING SUPPORT OFFICER: someone with a business development experience would be helpful but a good administrator could certainly prove suitable.

5. ASSISTANT TO OUR EXECUTIVE OFFICER. This would be part-time mornings, the days being to suit both parties. Banking experience would be a distinct advantage. This might suit someone that just wanted to work a couple of mornings a week on a voluntary basis or for mornings throughout the week, on a voluntary or possibly remunerated basis.

6. INTERNAL AUDIT ADMINISTRATOR volunteer(s) required. Could be someone that is capable of simply following accurate checking procedures to a qualified accountant who would be willing to run the whole procedure. Anything from half a day a week would be helpful.

7. FUNDRAISER.  A volunteer with previous experience of fund raising would be perferable.

If you have some spare time and wish to contribute to the development of the business, for the benefit of our society, please contact Brian or Stuart on 737555/482488/07797 717707.

Alternatively, write to the Chairman at the Company's offices or by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .''
