Needs Volunteer Helpers and Committee Members - men and ladies - aged 18 to 65.
The Jersey Across Group takes a group of 46 people to Lourdes each year for a one week holiday/pilgrimage. The group consists of 21 people with disabilities, plus a helper for each person, and nurses.
We now need many younger helpers, who are caring, but also fit and able to push a wheelchair up a slope.
We also need new members with administrative/computer skills to help with the considerable organisation involved in arranging the trip.
Although the ethos of the group is Roman Catholic, helpers and disabled may be of any religion or none, provided they are tolerant of the faith of others. And everyone always says it is an amazing, fantastic holiday, not to be forgotten!
