Volunteering

This young single parent who is now able to get back into part time work since his daughter is now at school. He is looking for paid work in the voluntary sector but mornings only to fit in with his daughter. His skills and experience are mostly people focused and he has worked with adults with learning difficulties and with children in a youth club and currently is a volunteer at a youth club. He is also computer literate and has the following certificates/training:

- 2 day Makaton training course

This lady is highly qualified in administration and accounts preparation, with many years’ experience of working in finance departments within commerce. In financial accounting she has covered all areas from basic ledger work through to production of final accounts for auditing, including managing the department. Management accounting experience is extensive, covering budgeting and forecasting, cost control and the production and analysis of management information. Computer literate, having worked with many finance packages and has set up a finance system, designing the chart of accounts and establishing the management reporting systems. A full time professional working lady has come forward with the offer of a couple of hours per week in the evenings and some weekend work (not in the summer months).
