Get ready to achieve something incredible We’re excited to announce our two challenges : trekking the Himalayas and cycling in Morocco! Imagine travelling to a far off destination with a group of people you may not have met before and experiencing some of the most spectacular scenery and inspiring culture the world has to offer. Sounds like an idyllic holiday, right? Now imagine you are travelling across that country on foot, undertaking a daily battle with steep hills, where around every corner and over every hill there is another incredible view or experience to be had. And imagine you could undertake that journey in the knowledge that you are raising funds for a cause that makes a daily difference to the lives of hundreds of people. This is what our 2019 Challengers will be facing this October! Trek the Himalayas ‘Challenges are what makes life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful’ author, Joshua J Marine This magnificent trek, with the ultimate combination of spectacular scenery and fascinating culture, takes us to the Himalayan Annapurnas – home of some of the highest peaks in the world. We walk through thick rhododendron forest and pass mountainside villages perched up above picturesque rice terraces, providing a real glimpse into local life. We continue up out of the tree line, where awe-inspiring views of the great peaks and glaciers of the Himalayas await us, including the famous ‘fish-tail’ mountain of Machupucchare. This is a challenging trek in mountainous terrain, but we remain at relatively low altitudes while being rewarded with some of the most magnificent mountain panoramas in the world! Four day extension If you want to extend your stay, we are offering a four day extension. Discover the jungle and wetlands of Chitwan National Park in Nepal’s sub-tropical lowlands, home to a wealth of wildlife including rhino, bear and the elusive Bengal tiger.
