Remember a loved one this Christmas Christmas is traditionally a time to get together with family, friends and loved ones to celebrate together; but this can be difficult if that special person who lit up your life won’t be here to celebrate with you. Light up a Life give us the opportunity to remember them at this special time of year by dedicating a light on our Christmas tree that will shine vibrantly all through Christmas and into the New Year. The lights on our Christmas tree will be lit for the first time during our Service of Remembrance, which will be held on Saturday 30 November, during which friends and family are invited to gather to pay tribute to those they have loved and lost. After Christmas, the names of everyone remembered in this way will be entered into a leather-bound Book of Remembrance, which is kept on display in our Reception throughout the year. We ask for a minimum donation of £5 per name. This will help us to continue caring for people with a life limiting illness and supporting their families, over Christmas.
