DESCRIPTION:The aim of this two day interactive course is to enhance health care professionals&rsquo\; communication skills when delivering palliative and end of life care. This will involve observation of practical demonstrations of communication skills and enabling participants the opportunity to practice their skills in a safe and supportive environment. Participant numbers are small to ensure the learning is person focused. Who should attend? The course should be attended by health care professionals whose practice involves end of life conversations and have previously undertaken communication skills training at intermediate level in order to be familiar with communication skills models.
