Join us as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of this popular walk! The first walk was organised by Doreen Hennessy in 1998 to raise money for an MRI scanner for the General Hospital. It was such a success that it became an annual event and Jersey Hospice Care was chosen as the charity to benefit thereafter. Since then, the walk has raised over £217,500 for Hospice. We’d like to encourage as many people as possible to join us who have taken part over the last 20 years, as well as welcome new walkers. This family friendly walk starts at the first layby by West Park and goes to St Brelade’s Parish Hall and back. There will be refreshments at the half way point. We are very grateful to Whitmill, whose sponsorship of this event allows us to give Easter Eggs to all children under 12 who complete the walk, as well as covering the event costs.
