World Diabetes Day marks the birthday of Frederick Banting who co-discovered insulin. The charity will be recognising this by raising awareness of the condition on the day and in addition, it will be hosting a seminar on Saturday 16th November to support those with Type 1 diabetes and inform health professionals and politicians.
