As a local charity we have suffered a decrease in donations but at the same time experienced an increase in demand for our services. We are trying to raise funds by organising an online charity auction, JAAR is the only on island charity providing a range of services to support survivors of sexual violence, their friends and family. We aim to reduce the impact of sexual violence by supporting, counselling, educating, informing, and advocating for survivors. This year we have received a huge increase in people asking for our help to heal.
