MARC's WALK is a celebration of the life of Marc Nieuwberg who very sadly died of bone cancer at the age of 19 in 2006. Organised by his amazing dad Willy, it is also an opportunity to discover the beauty of rural Jersey whilst enjoying the benefits of exercising in nature. This year, the Walk will take place on Sunday 17th July 2022. Brighter Futures is honoured to be the charity for which Willy and those supporting the Walk are raising funds and we are so grateful to Willy for choosing us. There is no need to pre- register or to pay to enter, those who come on the day will be given a map of three walking routes and can pick a 3, 7 or 13 mile route, depending on stamina levels. Walkers are asked to donate to Brighter Futures or their preferred cause. Willy has asked that walkers wear something orange to brighten the walk, which is going to be great!
