Our Memory Walk is for those who have lost people who had dementia, those with family or friends currently living with the condition or people who simply want to take on a challenge and raise money for a good cause. Pets are very welcome too! Start: Please arrive at La Frégate at 10.30am with the walk starting shortly after that. Finish: St Aubin just before St. Brelade’s Parish Hall (by the little gem cafe) Distance: 5km (flat route along the cycle track) This gentle, scenic walk is suitable for all ages and abilities. You can walk, jog, run, or even cycle – whatever suits you best. It’s about coming together as a community to support over 1,600 islanders living with dementia, along with their carers and families. Prefer to Walk Your Way? Take on your own DIY Memory Walk anytime, anywhere. Choose your favourite route, pick a date in September that works for you, and walk in your own way. To register your own walk, just select the ‘Own Route’ ticket option during sign-up. Adult Registration Fee: £15 Child Registration Fee: £10 There is no fundraising target for this event, however, any additional money raised will be welcome.
