The Howard Davis Farm Trust

Membership Number: AJC577 / Registered Charity Number: 401

The Howard Davis Farm Trust
The Howard Davis Farm Trust was set up in 2008 by the States of Jersey to provide funding support for education, research or projects associated with agriculture, horticulture and the environment.
Direct assistance is awarded throughout each year to any group or individual seeking financial support deemed consistent with the spirit and intentions of T B Davis, the Trust’s generous benefactor, who purchased and donated Parkfield, Trinity, to the States of Jersey for the purpose of establishing an experimental, educational and research farm for the benefit of the Island’s farmers and growers. The property was renamed Howard Davis Farm in memory of his son, Howard, who was killed in the Battle of the Somme during the First World War.
In the spirit of T B Davis’ aims and objectives, full consideration will be given to any application relating to training, research, protection, enhancement and monitoring within the bounds of agriculture, horticulture and the natural environment.
If you would like to apply for funding then please contact the Trust’s Secretary in the first instance who will be able to furnish you with further details including an application form. Email secretary@hdft.je
