This person was educated and started working life here in Jersey but latterly has been working abroad. Now back and looking for part time paid work in the sector, using their skills as a counsellor specialising in children and young people. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and adept at integrating elements from other evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Experience being employed, in school settings, in private practice and volunteering. They would be open to offers where counselling is not the main role, but still using their skills, knowledge and experience.
