Kindness Festival Returns

The Kindness Festival returns on 7^th September, 2019, and again this year we have the whole of the harbour side at St Aubin and can take 28 Gazebos, plus there is space for a small stage for music throughout the day. BBC Jersey radio have agreed to feature interviews with participants who would like the extra publicity, and we are in discussion with the possibility of making the charities a feature of the BBC Jersey schedule for the whole of that week. 

On the two previous occasions when we have run this festival (2015, 2017) in has proven to be very popular and successful. It is an ideal forum for the smaller charities in particular to meet the public, to show, tell, share, communicate their message and gain support. The Parish has also offered the use of the Parish Hall, however at this stage we are not planning to use the Hall unless any participants in particular want an indoor set up.

As in previous years, there is a small participation fee, £20, as a contribution towards the 3^rd party public liability insurance cover and also towards publicity materials.

Also, in order to enhance the event experience for all visitors the only condition is that each participant is required to do something that will be of interest to visitors, previously ideas have included free origami lesson, photo opportunity on a Harley Davidson, Treasure Hunt Map, cakes (of course), massage and many other great ideas that have created an enjoyable and fun day for the many visitors to the Festival.
