Millions of people fled Ukraine in February last year when Russia declared war on the country. The Salvation Army has had a presence in Ukraine since 1993 and was very quick to respond to the emerging conflict. The charity responded quickly and launched an International Ukraine Appeal and began supporting those fleeing the country at border crossings with temporary accommodation, hot meals and drinks and emotional support. We would love you to join us for an evening of food to raise money for those who have been devastated by war.
