JAFT is delighted to welcome Professor Divine Charura to Jersey for a one-day workshop on anti-discriminatory practice. Dr Charura (York St John University), is a Professor of Counselling Psychology. He is a counselling psychologist, psychotherapist and Honorary Fellow of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). The workshop is open to everyone interested in learning and thinking about anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice in our diverse Island community. It’s not just for therapists, but anyone who works with and alongside people from different races and cultures, and wants to do better as a colleague and ally.
