This White Ribbon Day, Freeda invites you to an inspiring and thought-provoking evening exploring the powerful role that men and boys can play in building a safer and more equal future.
We are delighted to welcome Wesley Cunliffe as our guest speaker. Wesley will share his extraordinary personal journey from a childhood shaped by domestic abuse, exploitation and crime to a successful career in professional and international rugby. Drawing on his own lived experience, he now works to support victims of domestic abuse, while championing men’s and boys’ mental health and encouraging positive masculinity and active allyship. Wesley will be joined by a panel of local experts and professionals from across different sectors. Together, they will explore the influence of sport and positive role models, the challenges facing young men and boys, and how each of us can speak up against the everyday attitudes and behaviours that allow misogyny and violence to take root.
