The objects of the Society shall be to: 1 Assess acts of bravery in the saving of human life: a In Jersey and its teriitorial waters; b Exceptionally, offshore where acts are carried out by persons normally living in Jersey; 2 To make approriate awards of medals (gold, silver and bronze) and/or framed certificates on vellum.
