Maison La Corderie Residential Home is seeking a dedicated Care Home Manager to oversee the highest standard of care provision. In this role you will provide strong people leadership, ensuring excellence in care delivery and resident outcomes, while stewarding resources effectively and safeguarding the home’s reputation through consistent, robust governance. You will ensure compliance with all relevant care standards and regulatory bodies, work closely with the Manager of Stuart Court to maintain consistency of practice, and implement efficiencies that support both homes.

Maison la Corderie is situated between St Helier town centre and Havre des Pas and provides a total of 31 permanent rooms and 2 respite rooms for residents to live in a home from home environment, whilst empowering them to make their own choices.

Stuart Court is a charitable residential home with 26 permanent rooms and 2 respite rooms. Situated in a central location with two very large well maintained gardens with uninterrupted views of St Aubin’s Bay.

Methodist Homes for the Aged has been operating since 1975 providing excellent residential care for people aged 60 years plus.  Our care is inspired by our Christian concern, although our homes are open to residents of all religions or none.  It is our aim to support and promote resident’s independence at our two care homes, Maison la Corderie and Stuart Court in a welcoming way.

Our most recent inspections carried out by the Jersey Care Commission, which included feedback from care receivers and their relatives, emphasised our ability to create a comforting, familiar environment that meets the care needs and improves overall wellbeing, and praising the service provided by building trust with our residents and their families. There were no areas for improvement identified for both homes.
