The post holder will be accountable to the Chair of the Board of the Jersey National Park Council

The postholder will provide vision and leadership for the National Park Council.

They will have overall operational responsibility for developing strategy and delivering programmes and projects in support of the purposes of National Park designation.

They will manage staff, contractors and volunteers; they will build the partnerships and collaborations, and secure and manage the necessary resources, to maximising the benefits that can accrue from the designation and to support the future sustainability of the organisation.

They will facilitate the effective working of the Board of the Council.
