Join Jersey Zoo for an exclusive screening of Project Wild Thing – the hilarious, real-life story of one man’s determination to get children out and into the ultimate, free wonder-product: Nature. Here at Durrell, we are currently working with David Bond, director and producer of Project Wild Thing, to rewild children as part of our new strategy, which includes the ambitious target of reconnecting 1 million people to nature by 2025. David will be hosting the screening at the Zoo and will take a Q&A session following the film. Café Dodo will be open, serving a selection of Street Food dishes from around the world that you can enjoy inside the café or outside on the terrace. Screening: 19:00-21:00 Tickets are £5 for members and £10 for non-members. Street Food at Café Dodo: 17:30-18:45, £8.50 per person Booking is essential for both screening and dinner tickets. Book today to secure your seats. Project Wild Thing: About the film David Bond is a father. Things have really changed since he was a kid. His children are hooked on screens and don't want to go outdoors. They want iPads, TV and plastic toys. The marketing departments of Apple, Disney and Mattel control his children better than he can. Determined to get them up and out, David appoints himself as the Marketing Director for Nature. With the help of branding and outdoor experts, he develops and launches a nationwide marketing campaign to get children outside.
