Jersey Action Against Rape (JAAR) has oAicially opened its 2025 Online Charity Auction, inviting the community to bid on an exciting range of prizes, experiences and local treats, all in support of survivors of sexual violence across Jersey. Last year, islanders helped raise more than £4,000. These funds were essential in allowing JAAR to continue providing free and confidential specialist counselling to anyone aAected by sexual violence. Demand for support continues to grow, and JAAR hopes that this year’s auction will raise even more so that the charity can meet the increasing need for its services. The auction is a key fundraising event for JAAR, which oAers trauma-informed one to one counselling for survivors and their families. The charity also delivers education and prevention work in schools and youth settings, helping young people understand consent, healthy relationships and sexual harm, both online and oAline. JAAR remains the only dedicated sexual violence support charity in Jersey and relies on local fundraising to ensure its services remain free, confidential and accessible. This year’s auction features a wide selection of unique items and experiences, all generously donated by individuals and organisations who share JAAR’s commitment to creating a safer community.
