Jersey Marine Conservation
Can you help Jersey Marine Conservation with the 2026 Marine Mission – Wetlands. Our big community event is well underway. This schools and community event celebrates Wetlands, Ramsar and the sea. Its everyone’s chance to find out what we and other organisations have been doing to save Jersey’s bit of the ocean.
If you have an education background and interest in marine conservation, can you apply your skills to help make the event even bigger and better. No need to get wet or fight off real sharks!
Help us organise and run a full day of school activities followed by an evening of exhibitions and presentations – all free to attendees.
Monday February 2nd at the Radisson Waterfront Hotel.
Already the tide of school children booked to attend the event is lapping around our ankles. The evening exhibition and talks are arranged and the seat booking is on-line.
Can you help us publicise the event by liaising with the media, inviting corporates and organisations, manage the bookings, maybe even raise some treasure to cover the event costs.
If you really want to deep dive into this great volunteering opportunity please contact kevin@jerseymarineconservation.org, saying a little bit about yourself, relevant background and why you are happy to plunge in with us.
