Volunteer Treasurer – Jersey Joint Services Veterans Association (JJSVA)
The Jersey Joint Services Veterans Association (JJSVA) is seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join its committee and oversee the charity’s financial management.

The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing bank accounts, preparing financial reports for committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting, supporting the annual budget, and assisting with fundraising and grant applications. The role plays a vital part in ensuring financial transparency, stability, and compliance.

This position also includes the general responsibilities of a committee member, contributing to governance, strategic direction, and community engagement activities in support of veterans and their families.

Previous military service is not required.
No formal financial qualifications are necessary; however, sound organisational skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.

The role is voluntary and unpaid. The Treasurer position constitutes a Governor role in law, and all committee positions are subject to annual re‑election at the AGM.
